Malaysian Perspective

This book seeks to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of health communication in Malaysia. It will cover a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, public health campaigns, the role of media in health promotion, digital health communication, health literacy, and the impact of socio-cultural factors on health behaviors and outcomes. By focusing on these areas, the volume aims to contribute to the global discourse on health communication while offering insights and practical solutions that are uniquely relevant to Malaysia. We invite scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to contribute their original research, case studies, and theoretical explorations to this volume. Submissions should critically engage with the evolving landscape of health communication in Malaysia, offering fresh perspectives and evidence-based insights that can inform both local and international audiences. Potential contributors are encouraged to address the intersectionality of health communication with other critical domains such as public policy, technology, and education.
